Results!
AdZone recently conducted
an opinion survey of 1106
respondents regarding the
new banner sizes proposed
by the Internet
Advertising Bureau (IAB).
A summary of the results
is as follows.

It
looks as though most
people (71%) would rather
have no ads on the web
sites they visit, however
the vast majority (96.8 %)
aren't willing to pay
subscriber fees to avoid
having to look at ads.
The
survey also seems to
indicate that most people
(73%) will tolerate a
doubling of ad size to
keep these sites free.
However most (68%) would
use those sites less if
they increased ad size 4
fold.
The
larger banner sizes won
out 62%-37% over using the
same size banners in
greater quantity.
Interestingly enough
almost nobody (3%) seems
to care for popup ads.
