(760)  68.7%

B. I would probably use those sites about the same.  (307)  27.8%

(31)  2.8%

If Internet Advertising has to be increased, which would you rather see?

A. More banner Ads of the same size as they are now.
(413)  37.3%

B. The same number of banners as we have now,  just larger sizes as proposed by the IAB..
(689)  62.3%

C. No change in current banner sizes or quantity, but increase the number of popup ads.
(3)  .3%

It looks as though most people (71%) would rather have no ads on the web sites they visit, however the vast majority (96.8 %) aren't willing to pay subscriber fees to avoid having to look at ads.

The survey also seems to indicate that most people (73%) will tolerate a doubling of ad size to keep these sites free.  However most (68%) would use those sites less if they increased ad size 4 fold.

The larger banner sizes won out 62%-37% over using the same size banners in greater quantity. Interestingly enough almost nobody (3%) seems to care for popup ads.
